SPIRAL Stool  

This piece is my first design and remains conceptual because it is so difficult to make, in metal or wood. In each case the same material is used throughout to create the seat and legs. The appeal of wood is its warmth and lightness and while this version is not strong enough to sit on, the next generation will be. Metal bending shops around the country are stymied by the metal version, but I have not given up hope.
